A Makeup Revolution

I know, I know…I just raved about my new favorite makeup being Josie Maran argan oil based makeup. Well that was before I realized that you can turn your Bare Essentials powder into a liquid foundation. Sometimes my skin does not agree with powder makeup; it looks cakey and can be messy. I am not sure if you all are aware that many of the Bare Essentials powder eyeshadows can be turned into a  longer lasting, creamy, high pigment color just by wetting your brush. I used this same concept when turning my foundation into a liquid. I apply my Jan Marini Antioxidant sunscreen EVERY single day therefore I chose

a light weight moisturizer to mix with my bare essentials powder, Bare Minerals Purely Nourishing Moisturizer, to avoid looking too shiney. This concoction is as simple as pouring some of your powder in the cap and squirting a small amount of moisturizer also in the cap. Use your fingers or a foundation brush to mix the powder and moisturizer together and apply. I just use my fingers and go over my whole face including my eye lids with my amazing “new” liquid foundation. It gives me an incredibly even skin tone and a nice, dewy glow; bonus points for it still being a non-comedogenic product! Follow with some blush and mascara and you are good to go!
